The next trip

After UT, my sister Bonnie came up to OR to spend some time with me. Her visit finally inspired us to take the mini-tour of Washington we have always been planning. We started with Seattle--as you may be able to tell from the pictures it was very sunny.
Since it was our first visit we decided to be the ultimate tourist and do the "duck" tour of Seattle. It was totally worth it. LM loves his quacker (a new toy from the tour); we all hate it.
On the tour, they gave LM a little duck to be responsible for. He had it by his side the whole time. Also while in Seattle, we went to the Experience Music Project and Science Fiction museum, Pike Place Market, and of course the flagship Nordstrom.

After Seattle, we took a ferry over to the peninsula--northwestern part of Washington. It was gorgeous and a fabulous drive. Of course this included a stop in Forks (see above post). After Forks we continued down the WA coast line and went camping in Long Beach, WA. Our trip ended in Cannon Beach, OR. It was a great way to end the trip because the day was one of the best I've ever seen on the coast. The weather was just at 80 degrees! with clear blue skies and just a little wind.
