San Francisco

Celebrating 5 years married. We took a short but wonderful trip down to the city.

I've been giving Bill little photography lessons (sounds funny considering I could use lessons myself), but I'm tired of always being behind the camera. With my killer looks and fashion sense I feel like I deserve more camera time. This lesson is on the way there--stretching break.
The view on the way inFriday night (I made a classic Arin mistake and forgot to check my white balance--I either need to stop messing around with it or remember to change it!) I still love this photo. We had some amazing sushi, and then visited Top of the Mark, recommended by a good friend for hearing some awesome jazz. Saturday visiting Legion of Honor--who else loves Rodin?
I really enjoyed taking pictures of Bill looking at pictures. I might have annoyed him after an hr or so of that.
Lombard St--I have visited every visit to San Francisco; now a tradition.Later it was Fisherman's Wharf and Ghirardelli Square. We enjoyed some beautiful violin music and treated ourselves to some of these.
The highlight of the trip-Andrea Bocelli concert, most certainly the best concert I have ever seen. I'm not going to check that one off of my list of things to do before I die because I want to go again someday. This pic was taken with the i-phone, so the quality isn't quite as good. I took it before the show started since photos weren't allowed during the show. Even though we were far from the stage I think we had the best seats (minus the first few rows of the floor seating).A great way to celebrate 5 years.

P.S. I don't think LM even realized we were gone. He had so much fun with his friend Rafe. He was jabbering all afternoon about everything they did together. Thanks to Ashleigh and Dane for taking him all weekend!

I'm glad you're teaching your hubby to take pictures. That picture of you in the field is so cute! I can't believe how gorgeous you are! It's funny that you're only a few years younger than me, have a kid the same age as one of mine, but I'll probably always think of you as so young. Funny, huh. by the way, my little family and I might be driving through Ohio this summer on a road trip...we might stop by Athens and say hi to your family.

Congrats on your anniversary! The pictures are awesome! I've been contemplating taking a photography class. I think I would love it. I try to act like I can take pictures... but I really don't know a thing about cameras. ;D It's about time I learned.

Maybe you could give me a class too...I messed up all the pictures at Josh's graduation last night...but on the positive side, your trip looked fabulous! Happy Anniversary.

I have that same Rodin statue. Unfortunately Dan just decapitated it today. Super glue to the rescue :D

Congrats you guys! Looks like a great trip. I've only been to SF one time. It doesn't get much better than that place. It's also where I saw my first transvestite. Good times
