Less than a week...

This Thursday I will finally be going on my trip to Cambodia. I can hardly believe how fast the time has flown by. I have updated all my immunizations, gotten my visa, found my passport, and printed out all the info I need (flight itinerary, travelers insurance details, etc). I am picking up my prescription for the malaria pills today and pictures of the fam for me to take with. All my clothes and stuff to pick is strewn about the living room as I organize it all. Fundraising is coming along, thank you to all who have donated. I am only $280 away from my goal now!
I'm hopeful that as I travel I will be able to update the blog a little bit. We will be able to visit two of the shelters there (out of three) and spend time with the girls. I'm excited to see what the money will really be going towards and to meet some of these resilient kids.
Today LM, Bill, and I are spending the whole day together as it is my last day off before I go. Two weeks is a long time, and I'm quite certain the hardest part will be leaving them.

Oh Becca, I'm so excited for you! Have a really terrific time. I am sure it will be a life changing event for you. I can't wait to hear all about it.

One thing - if you are bringing pictures, you should bring some of your house, your job and other things in your life. I have always found that while people liked pictures of my mom/sister/etc. they always picked out the settings behind them to ask about!

Have a super trip!!!!
