Ahhh bookclub. Basically my favorite day of the month. Let's just say these girls are some of the funniest people I know. There is always some good food and good conversation. If it is an interesting book, someone may have actually read it too. Tonight was another classic night. As a follow up to our ring tests, I guess it really is just a myth (who would have guessed?). Kendell, I forgive you for being an unbeliever. :)
"This one is Hungarian in nature. You put the wedding band on a string and hold it still over the belly. If it moves in a strong, circular motion it’s a girl. If it swings in a pendulum motion it’s a boy," says Douglas, who has researched the folklore behind the methods. "It’s psychological -- kind of like the Ouija board. You think you’re keeping it still, but there are very slight tremors in your hands that make it move. Still, it’s a fun shower game."

Wow, you've done a lot since I last checked your blog. I guess I'll have to read up on you more often. It sounds like things are going good, and I had a fun time reading (even though I'm supposed to be working). This is more fun!! Anyway, I think I made 1 or 2 comments from stuff you wrote earlier. Good Stuff!!!
HEY!!!-
we are having a halloween party at our house at 8:30p.m. on Oct.31. There will be dinner and treats, games and a scary movie! (will can sleep in a porta crib at our house if needed!) hope you can come- will you have Bill call Dane if you can or can't?
Book club is totally my favorite night of the month too! I was seriously laughing on my way home as I thought of all us grown, educated, and reasonably intelligent women anxiously watching what the ring would do next!
Can't wait for next month...I heard the December book is good...I'm really going to try and read it!!
