Chief Justice Muniz used to be a partner at GHR, so he always does a private swearing in with new attorneys there. The firm hosted a reception honoring Bill with cake and even some non-alcoholic drinks. It was awesome. And then they gave us the ok to go anywhere for dinner on them. We went to Ruth's Chris in Portland and spent a ridiculous amount on 3 people. The usual idea is that you would be going out with family, such as parents or siblings, and of course be drinking alcohol as well. We basically spent just as much money without either of those excuses. Bill was embarrassed to turn in the receipt, and I thought it was awesome!
