He's official

Did I go to to the general swearing in Bill had after he passed the bar--no. I was working in PDX. In fact he barely made it himself. He was so busy with work that day it was more of an inconvenience than anything else, but he wanted to at least be official. Why would we not make a big deal out of a HUGE deal? Because of this swearing in...

Chief Justice Muniz used to be a partner at GHR, so he always does a private swearing in with new attorneys there. The firm hosted a reception honoring Bill with cake and even some non-alcoholic drinks. It was awesome. And then they gave us the ok to go anywhere for dinner on them. We went to Ruth's Chris in Portland and spent a ridiculous amount on 3 people. The usual idea is that you would be going out with family, such as parents or siblings, and of course be drinking alcohol as well. We basically spent just as much money without either of those excuses. Bill was embarrassed to turn in the receipt, and I thought it was awesome!
